The Fisherman’s Hut is the station’s latest accommodation offering. It is so-named because it replaces an original hut of the same name. You don’t need to be a fisherman to stay here though! Designed for a couple, this romantic hut is a fully self-contained one bedroom unit with a stylish kitchen, laundry, living area and ensuite bathroom. As with all our accommodation, it is unique and in keeping with the high country aesthetic.

Situated in the main homestead area, the Fisherman’s Hut is part of the hub of the station. However, the hut has it’s own private space and views.

We offer scenic flights and we are happy to arrange fishing and hunting guides for guests.

Included in your stay are;

• The use of a small rowboat and life jackets on Lake Heron. The lake provides excellent swimming and fishing over the summer months, as well as the opportunity to spot the rare Southern Crested Grebe

• The use of station 4WD tracks for exploring remoter parts of the property

• Access to an interesting variety of day hikes

• Visits to historic station huts

• Wireless internet

• Catering by prior arrangement
